You will still be sent an order confirmation email within 24 hours after placing the order, but the search process will only be started after your payment has been received into our account. For BACS payments from banks other then HSBC this means that the process might be delayed by 3-4 days, for cheques that is usually 1-2 days.

Delivery Policy
We provide HIPs for all residential properties in England and Wales. Your completed Home Information Pack is normally ready within 7-15 working days and will then be sent to you in PDF format by email. Unregistered properties and leasehold properties may take longer, up to 21 days. If you have chosen the option to have a printed copy of your Home information pack please also allow an additional 5 days for printing and posting.  An email will be sent to you to confirm that it has been posted. Postage & packaging costs for these items are included in the price of the copy. In the event that one of the searches in your Home Information Pack is delayed and your HIP will not be completed within the set time we will email or phone you to notify you of this and the reasons why.  If you would like a hard copy posted outside of the UK then please contact us for a price quotation.

Service providers used by Goodhips.com to provide the mandatory documents within a HIP are registered members of the HIP Code and/or Search Code. All documents provided are individually insured by the relevant search provider. The energy assessment is covered by the energy assessor's own Indemnity & Liability Insurance.
