Why are our HIPs so much cheaper?

Goodhips.com is an independent, competitive, family run company providing cheap online Home Information Packs (HIPs) across all of England and Wales. We sell HIPs directly to the public, we cut out the middle man and therefore keep our costs low and the price of our HIPs down. You get the same legally compliant HIP as one from an estate agent or solicitor but at a far lower price. We are not Vat registered so there is NO VAT added to our prices.

How it works

After you have ordered a HIP pack you will receive an order confirmation by email within 24 hours or the next working day.  The required searches will then be requested and within a few days you will be contacted by one of our qualified Domestic Energy Assessors to make an appointment to do the Energy Assessment for your property. This will be done at the property and takes up to an hour depending on the size of the property.

As yet you can still market your property as soon as you have received the order confirmation. The HIP pack is usually ready within 7- 15 days. (allow up to 21 days for unregistered or Leasehold properties) The HIP pack consists of around 50 - 80 pages of information, and to save money and trees the HIP will be sent to you or your selected sales agent by email in PDF format. We can offer printed copies or copies on CD for additional charges. (See Prices)

Service providers used by Goodhips.com to provide the mandatory documents required within a HIP are registered members of the HIP Code and/or the Search Code. All documents provided are individually insured by the relevant search provider. The energy assessment is covered by the energy assessors own Indemnity & Liability Insurance.
